WORK

My research at the Institute for Instrumentation in Molecular Imaging (i3M) focuses on applying Deep Learning and Computer Vision techniques to improve image quality in PET imaging systems. In particular, my work is centered on the optimization of image reconstruction and denoising methods for the IMAS Total-Body PET system installed at Hospital Universitari i Politècnic La Fe.

CURRENT PROJECTS

I am currently working on the development and evaluation of denoising algorithms for PET images, while completing my doctoral thesis. My goal is to contribute to more accurate, robust, and reliable medical imaging technologies.

RESEARCH INTEREST

My research interests lie at the intersection of Artificial Intelligence, medical imaging, and healthcare technology. I have developed software for lesion and tumor segmentation in medical images and have experience working in collaborative programming environments and team-based research projects. I am motivated to build high-impact technologies that support clinical decision-making and improve patient outcomes.
